Event Description: Mother Lode Rehabilitation Enterprises Inc. (MORE) is hosting our 16th annual Chili Cook Off and Classic Car Show for the kickoff to El Dorado Gold Week. We expect 30 competitors eager to prove to you they are the chili masters, all while browsing over 200 of the most beautiful classic cars out there! Admission is a suggested donation of $10 per person, $5 for children. This gives you a chance to taste all the chili you can handle, vote for your favorite chili, and vote for your favorite car. Live Music by Hank Biggs & the Hardtops, Drawings for Prizes, one of a kind art work by the Something MORE Artists’, Drinks (including adult beverages), hot dogs, sliders and snacks are also available. The classic car show gets under way at 10:00 am, and the chili will be ready at 12:00. All proceeds benefit adults with disabilities. MORE is currently accepting applications for Chili Cooks and Classic Car Show entries.
