Event Description: CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) of El Dorado is a non-profit organization of volunteers dedicated to working one-on-one with children in the foster system. As a volunteer advocate, you will receive training on how to support children who have suffered from abuse or neglect and how to find resources they need. CASA is offering a training class for adults interested in becoming a volunteer advocate and a powerful voice in court for children. Our training will be held on April 5, 12 and 19 from 9:00 am - 2:00 pm. Please email Shanna Lowder for more information. shanna@casaeldorado.org.
