Event Description: Join New Morning Youth & Family Services as we hold our 22nd Annual "Sunday in Apple Hill". Spend an enjoyable afternoon at ‘Crystal Springs Gardens’ with spectacular views of apple orchards in the low Sierra Mountains. This elegant garden party features fine hors d’ oeuvres, delicious cuisine catered by John Sanders at Old Town Grill, and some of the best El Dorado County wines including Wofford Vineyards, Sierra Vista, Nello Olivo, Lava Cap, Madrona and Via Romano along with beer by Anchor Brewing. We will also have fun raffle prizes and an awesome GRAND prize of a 7 day trip to the San Juan Islands! 100% of the proceeds go to New Morning Youth & Family Services. New Morning has provided a safety net of services to troubled youth and their families in El Dorado County since 1970. These services include the 24-hour Children's Shelter for runaway, homeless and in-crisis youth (the only one in El Dorado County), alcohol and drug treatment for adolescents, counseling and support for pregnant and parenting teens, and counseling for high-risk youth (youth who are abused, suicidal, experiencing school failure, runaway or thrown out of their home, or engaging in delinquent behavior).
