Event Description: Assistance League of Sierra Foothills is presenting its 5th annual Gardens of the Hills tour on May 3rd and 4th from 10:00-5:00. The tour will feature 8 fabulous gardens from El Dorado Hills to Shingle Springs, including the 25 acre Mitchell Estate. One of the tour sponsors, Green Acres, will also be on the tour and will have a large display of water-wise plants at their Folsom location. Each garden will have master gardeners on site. A bonsai nursery and bonsai demonstrations will be featured. Local artists will also have their works for sale in each garden. Local wine and olive oil tasting and a raffle are included in this major garden event. Event sponsors are Green Acres, El Dorado Savings Bank, Serrano, Marshall Medical and Security Pacific Mortgage. Proceeds from the event benefit needy children and seniors in El Dorado County. Tickets are available at Green Acres, California Welcome Center and Pottery World. Ticket cost is $25 for adults and $10 for children.
