Event Description: Come celebrate NATIONAL GET OUTDOORS DAY at Mother Lode River Center in Lotus, CA! Nestled in the Coloma valley alongside the American River, the river center is the ideal location to experience healthy, active, outdoor fun. Free activities include biking, hiking, gardening, the zip-line, the climbing wall and much more. Learn about conservation, beekeeping, gold-panning, native plants and animals. Relax alongside the river listening to nature and acoustic music. National Get Outdoors Day aims to reconnect youth…and adults to the Great Outdoors! Come reconnect! FREE admission to all activities. Food will be available for purchase. Activities are scheduled from 10am-4pm.
