Shop, Eat and Visit ! Downtown Placerville's new SOL Community Farmers' Market is hosting the 1st Annual Summer Solstice Festival! We are celebrating our first Summer at Market and the new Season’s Harvest—bring the family out, enjoy the weather and support our local farmers, artisans, merchants and non-profits. Stock up on farm fresh fruit and make jam with the kids, enjoy a fresh healthy Sunday dinner with summer vegetables and fresh locally raised meat, sweeten your morning tea with the yummiest local honey, take home amazing herbs, spices and teas, olive oil, homemade granola, salsa, fresh baked breads...mmmmm! There is something for the whole family to enjoy with locally handmade jewelry and crafts, Native American arts and crafts, food samples, food vendors, kids’ activities with El Dorado Chapter California Native Plant Society and Woodsong Herbs, seed giveaway, face painting, Smokey Bear and USFS Placerville District Fire Truck, and local musicians performing their music live for us! CLASSIC CARS WELCOME – look for our 72 Chevy Truck ! Parking There is plenty of parking at Wilkinson-Hupcey Lot - 681 Main Street, Mosquito Park & Ride - 2894 Mosquito Road/Hwy 50, Ivy House Lot - 601 Main Street.
