Event Description: Lunafest” is a program of short films all by, for and about women. The films celebrate unique, touching and inspirational roles of women in local, national and international communities. All the Lunafest proceeds are donated to charity. Specifically, net proceeds will benefit the Breast Cancer Fund, and the Soroptimist International of Cameron Park and El Dorado Hills Soroptimist share will focus on helping provide education for women who are financially responsible for themselves and their families. The event is Thursday, April 14th at the Cameron Park CSD, Community Center, 2502 Country Club Dr. in Cameron Park. The reception with beverages and small plates for sale and complimentary desserts starts at 6:15 p.m.. The show starts at 7 p.m.. Cost is $15 general and $8 for students.
