Steve Wallen Swim School

My kid goes to Steve Wallen Swim School for 1.5 years and he finally finished all the ribbons! I love that the swimming pool is big enough to accommodate the kids and the water is warm during winter. My kid has no problem with itchy skins during his lessons. The facilities (pool, changing rooms & restrooms) are always clean. The front desk people are always friendly and reply my call promptly for make up classes.

My kid had 3 regular teachers during his time and several make up teachers who are all awesome! He had a hard time to learn free style and breaststroke so we changed instructor and he finally mastered it. So sometimes it really depends on the instructor's teaching style.

Our 4 year old has become a much more confident swimmer. Her instructor Shannon also gives the parents guidance on how to continue the learning when not at lessons.

We love going to Steve's Wallens swim school in El Dorado Hills, my kiddo is very new to swimming and she loves her classes here. All instructors we've worked with have been great! Thank you!

We have been going for about six months. My son had a huge fear of water. Now he is super confident. He is already learning back stroke and side stroke.

Could not be happier. As a lifelong swimmer, it was a bit painful to admit that I needed help teaching my own children to swim - but Steve Wallen's team was ready and willing to take on the task. My son has been comfortable in water his whole life, but the next step of being independent in the pool was taking a bit of effort. We have had experience with 4 different instructors now and I can say that I trust each and every member of the staff to keep my son safe while also helping him to learn and have fun. If you find yourself needing an extra bump of confidence, don't forget to talk to Mr. Steve about the magic water situation he's got going on in his pools - real game changer. I have already recommended SWSS to 3 other families who are loving it as much as we do.

We have been coming to Steve Wallen Swim School since our son was about a year old. Starting with "baby and me" classes to get him use to and comfortable in the water. He is 3 now and just loves coming and "swim class" is one of his very favorite things. All the instructors are great, we especially love Miss Alaina.

Exceptions experience so far. The staff are friendly and our instructor, Rojeen, has made tremendous progress with our kids. Instruction is hands on, challenging when appropriate and fun. A great mix. Love this place!

We have a toddler enrolled in classes with Ms Katya and they look forward to this class all week long. The teacher is great and really communicates what each child needs to work on in the following class and what they are doing great at. Our teacher takes her time to make sure that our child has mastered the skill before pushing onto the next step or skill. We've been in classes for 5 months and will continue to pay for the classes in the future even though our child can technically swim, she loves going to class and learning new things.

wonderful swim program! My son has Spencer and he has made my son (3 years old) more confident, comfortable and excited about swimming. The whole experience here has been positive and wonderful.

My 3.5 year old started classes in May and the classes have helped him feel so much more comfortable with water and learn a few swim techniques that he uses now. He has been doing semi-private instruction with Anavi. Anavi has been the sweetest and most patient instructor with my child since the beginning. My child cries every time we go to swim class, but Anavi does a great job at calming him down and he stops crying within a few minutes. We've also had a few new instructors when Anavi isn't available, and they're just as great. I really think they key to teaching your child to swim starts with someone who can give your child that comfort and security while in water. A child will not learn if he or she is under stress, and so finding a place and instructor that can help your child feel safe is important! Definitely recommend this place to parents who are looking for swim lessons to children who are very young
