Event Description: 5k Run/Walk 8am rain or shine Run for bloods mission is to provide funding and support to blood centers across the country through community charity runs. Every two seconds, someone, somewhere needs blood. Additionally 72% of the population underestimates the need for blood. Now is the time to get involved and support this life saving cause! Whether you are a competitive runner, a causal walker, or just love the idea of supporting a wonderful cause, participating in a Run for blood allows you to show your support for your local blood center. Give back All proceeds of the Run for Blood sponsored by Delta Blood Bank benefit the Dameron Hospital Foundation. Dameron’s mission is to provide the funds necessary for updating medical equipment and facilities at Dameron Hospital, and to support the hospital endeavor to promote a healthier community.
