Event Description: LUNAFEST® is a program of eight short films all by, for and about women. The films celebrate unique, touching and inspirational roles of women in local, national and international communities. Tickets are $20 General; $10 Students (Age 16+ advised) Beverages and food will be available for purchase along with our usual complementary desserts. We will also have some great raffle prizes and other opportunity drawings. Bring your friends for an interesting social evening and unique thought-provoking films! It’s sponsored by LUNA®, so you will also receive a free LUNA® bar just for being there! Though we like the convenience of the on-line tickets here, they are also available locally at El Dorado Hills Chamber of Commerce Welcome Center at 2085 Vine Street in Town Center, Cameron Park Vitamins at 3342 Coach Lane in Cameron Park, and at the door on event night. Funds raised this evening will support education, especially for women and girls, which includes our annual Live Your Dream Awards. These awards are for women who are the primary breadwinner in the family and are returning to school against steep odds. We also support local agencies working to stop Human Trafficking in the Sacramento and El Dorado County areas. These two projects provide our most important community impact. At Intermission, monetary awards will be given to these worthy causes from funds we raised last year! Soroptimist International of Cameron Park/El Dorado Hills has volunteered in this community for over 37 years, making a difference in the lives of many women and girls.
