Event Description: El Dorado Connections - One Stop and Folsom Lake College are hosting a Care Provider Career Fair on Friday, September 20 from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Folsom Lake College El Dorado Center located at 6699 Campus Drive in Placerville. Employers who are hiring caregivers will be on-site at the career fair to provide information about working in this field, with descriptions of available jobs, and how to apply for them. As the average age of El Dorado County residents becomes older, the care provider employment field continues to grow. Care providers work for live-in care facilities and organizations whose employees travel to clients' homes to help with basic tasks that enable those clients to live independently. The Care Provider Career Fair is free and open to members of the public. Connections - One Stop is a program of the El Dorado County Health and Human Services Agency, and a member of America's Job Center of California, a network of employment service agencies across the state and nation.
