Event Description: The public is invited to the 19th Annual Big Time Celebration hosted by the Shingle Springs Band of Miwok Indians on Saturday, Aug. 24, from 9am- 8pm, and on Sunday, Aug. 25, from 9 am – 6 pm at the Shingle Springs Rancheria in Placerville, Calif. Big Time is free to attend, offers fun for the whole family, and is alcohol and drug free. This annual cultural gathering dates back thousands of years. Festivities include traditional dancers from 12 northern California groups, a variety of food and craft vendors, hand games, and more. Highlights of the Kids’ Corner include face painting, inflatable slides and the Warrior Games Relay Races.


Directions:
The Shingle Springs Rancheria is located off Highway 50 at the Red Hawk Parkway exit.
