We will offer suggestions and avenues to assist participants with pivoting their service or product delivery methods. Expressive Therapies is a FREE program open to foster parents, adoptive parents and caregivers in El Dorado County. This program pairs artists with therapists to tailor artistic workshops geared toward helping those parents and caregivers who are experiencing stress, trauma, anxiety, or grief. Several mediums will be presented in this program. *Each workshop will be hosted via Zoom to comply with COVID-19 safety precautions. VISUAL JOURNALING ~ This workshop will guide participants in the development of a mixed media visual journal. Participants will utilize mixed media techniques, including collage materials, markers, colored pencils and pens to create their own journal art. The use of artistic expression and text engages multiple parts of the brain and can provide a positive creative experience for participants. No previous art experience needed. Art materials provided by Arts and Culture El Dorado.
