We’re back and cannot wait to see you! Join us at the magnificent private estate of Saureel Vineyards. The evening starts at 6PM with a cocktail hour and Bruin student musical performances. A dinner catered by local chef, John Sanders, paired with Ponderosa alum Scott Harvey’s wine* will follow at 7PM. *Wine and beer will be available onsite for purchase. This year’s silent auction will feature current student designs from the Ponderosa Ag Mech, Floral, and Art Departments. Not only will these be part of the auction but also a student design competition. Attendees will vote with their wallets with top student earners winning awards. You won’t want to miss the opportunity to have one-of-a-kind handmade art pieces in your home. Our silent auction will also include trips, gift cards, luxury items and more. Valued Supporters – With much regret, I must inform you that our April 2 grand opening celebration for the ARC Education Center at Wakamatsu Farm must be rescheduled for this fall. Please rest assured the delay is beyond the control of ARC staff. The setback in construction completion is primarily attributed to delays on the part of our general contractor, Hudson and Son, Inc., as well as supply chain delays for roofing materials. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience and disappointment this news may cause you.

Instead, we hope you now join us in looking forward to our grand opening ribbon-cutting celebration during the first Open Farm Day tentatively September 3^rd. We will confirm and communicate those plans closer to the new date.

We are also pleased to proceed with the new plaque installation on the Donor Wall of Honor at Wakamatsu Farm on April 2^nd. Open Farm Day begins at 10:00 a.m. when guests are welcome to arrive. The plaque ceremony will begin at 11:00 a.m. lasting about 30 minutes. You are invited to this special ceremony honoring our generous donors and funders along with planned activities celebrating environmental education like guided nature walks, orienteering, history walks, and more.
