Of the approximately 60,100 El Dorado County voters who cast ballots in the June 2 primary election for the 7th Congressional District, 31% supported Republican Zachariah Wooden. Democratic candidates Congresswoman Doris Matsui and Sacramento City Councilmember Mai Vang received 25.8% and 24.5%, respectively.

We have invited Congresswoman Doris Matsui to speak at our Business Connections Luncheon on August 5. She will be asked to share her priorities and discuss how, if reelected, she plans to represent and support El Dorado Hills and El Dorado County.
